Did you know that?

If you're not sure what vitamins or minerals you could be missing out on, you might want to take a multivitamin and multimineral supplement, which includes the recommended daily dose of many nutrients.

Pregnancy

Centrum products are not suitable for pregnant or breast-feeding women.

Vitamin A

During pregnancy women are routinely asked to avoid vitamin A rich foods such as liver and liver paté and may also be advised against taking supplements containing vitamin A. This is because high levels of vitamin A could cause some risk to your baby.

The level of vitamin A in Centrum is 800µg, an amount that is considered safe. However you must also consider your dietary intake of vitamin A, which will vary from person to person. We suggest you discuss this point with your GP, Midwife or Health Visitor (or Public Health Nurse in the Republic of Ireland).
